はじめまして

ホームページ拝見しました。

風景レンダリングを趣味にしています。

ちょっと、御質問ですが、私は
Fractal! 1.3.3
というＭＡＣの地形レンダリングソフト（フリーウェア）を愛用しているのですが
もう２年以上アップデートされておらず残念に思っています。

本来の使い方とは違うのですが、アンビエントの設定が独特で
日本画風の風景画が作れるのです。

私の知るかぎり、このようなテイストで風景を作れるソフトは他になく
最新版もしくは、代替ソフトをさがしているしだいです。

もし、御存じでしたら教えていただきたいのですが。

Thank you very much indeed for placing a link to our web site. Attached to this message you should find a 3D view of all of Japan as a JPEG image. We used the USGS 30 arc second DEM (http://www1.gsi-mc.go.jp/gtopo30/gtopo30.html or http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/landdaac/gtopo30/gtopo30.html) and an online mapping tool (http://www.aquarius.geomar.de/omc/omc_intro.html) for the texture in addition to TruFlite's elevation-to-color mapping.

Scenery Visualization

Hi

Would you please consider adding our Visual Explorer software into your listing of rendering software. I think you'll find our pages interesting and we would much appreciate a link.

Some things that I should highlight. We have a free program for converting Japanese SEM files to XYZ format - this can then either be used directly or quickly converted into Vistapro DEM or other visualization formats (such as for Bryce, WCS etc) very quickly using our software.

We also have 75 metre data for the whole of France available very cheaply (less than US$100) and can supply VRML models for the rest of Europe at up to 75 metre resolution. We have converted USGS 30 degree DCW data available - some free - on our site.
